Unscripted Development & Programming Executive

Havva Eisenbaum is an award-winning Television Producer and Executive who specializes in Non-Fiction, Reality TV and Documentary Development.  She most recently served as Vice President of Development & Programming for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network and was responsible for developing the OWN’s slate of non-fiction programming.  She also oversaw many Current Series, including The Nightcap with Carlos King, Food Fantasies and Tanya’s Kitchen Table.

Prior to OWN, Eisenbaum was Head of Unscripted Television at Monami Productions, the powerhouse company behind the Love & Hip Hop franchise. In this role, she developed and sold series to VH1, BET, MTV and Lifetime. Among the projects she Executive Produced for Monami were Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life! and Angel Brinks: The Real Bling, both for WEtv.

Eisenbaum came to Monami from Amsterdam-based distribution and production company Off the Fence (prodco behind the Academy Award-winning My Octopus Teacher), where she served as Vice President of Development. Under the OTF banner, she created and Executive Produced factual series and specials for American networks, including TLC and MTV.   

Eisenbaum started her unscripted career at PB&J Television, where she spent eight years and developed and/or produced a wide variety of Competition, Documentary, Docu-Follow and Lifestyle content, including Blonde Charity Mafia for The CW, Dress My Nest for Style and Bad Sex for Logo.

Eisenbaum earned her B.S. degree in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.A. from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.  She currently lives in Los Angeles with her “recovering New Yorker” DP/Camera Op partner (whom she met on a TLC weight loss show) and their dog, Mushu.
